October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and Safe Horizon has collaborated with Refinery29 to create three articles that talk about the different facets of domestic violence.
In the first article, Deputy CEO and Chief Program Officer of Safe Horizon Liz Roberts gives Refinery29 readers three concrete ways to support survivors of domestic violence. In the second article, Refinery29 visits two of Safe Horizon’s shelters; Lotus House and Rose House. In the third article, Refinery29 interviews a domestic violence survivor as she describes what it’s like to co-parent with her abusive ex-husband.
